Welcome to the Old White Hart in Lyddington
This charming and attractive Country Inn is set amongst the sandstone cottages of Lyddington, a rural conservation village surrounded by the slopes of the Welland Valley.
This 17th Century building has retained its original beamed ceilings, stone walls and open fires and is surrounded by well stocked gardens. The Old White Hart is one of the few owner run remaining traditional country pubs in the area. The owners Stuart and Holly East have been running the Pub for 20 years. The ten minute drive from Corby or the five minutes from Uppingham seem like a step back in time.
The atmosphere creates a feeling of times gone by and a more leisurely era. Whether sampling the real ales or dining in our Restaurant, a warm welcome always awaits. We also offer the highest quality bed and breakfast accommodation at competitive prices, either above the pub or in pretty sandstone cottages. We are sorry but we do not allow dogs.
We have a third off our steak and lamb dishes Monday to Saturday. This includes lunch and dinner from our a la carte menu. (Not in conjunction with any other offer, not available Bank holidays).
Choose from our A La Carte menu on Monday to Thursday, Lunch and Evening, (not in conjunction with any other offer, not available Bank holidays or December).

I am prompted to write to you concerning your New Year’s Eve celebration last night. My group of four had a most enjoyable time, the food was superb and the service was excellent. The whole event was a credit to you and the staff, not forgetting those toiling away in the kitchen. Mr MarsdenNew Years Eve 2016
Have been to The Old White Hart often. Stuart and Holly are amazing hosts. Anyone who would like an exceptional experience this is the place to stay, or if not to stay, just for that gourmet meal.
The surroundings and ambience is fantastic. We can honestly say, that this is one of the ‘must visit’ family run restaurants in Rutland.
