Pétanque

Is a form of boules where the goal is, while standing with the feet together in a small circle, to throw hollow metal balls as close as possible to a small wooden ball called a cochonnet (literally "piglet") or jack. The game is normally played on hard dirt or gravel, but can also be played on grass or other surfaces.

We have eight areas of play, floodlit on the darker evenings. Pétanque is a game anyone can play - instruction is provided and competitions arranged. Play is from 7:00pm to 9:30pm followed by your chosen meal. See our menus for more info on our packages or click the menu right.

Pétanque evenings can be booked from April - October, Monday to Friday, for parties of between 6 and 50 people. Please enquire for details and prices.
