This charming and attractive Country Inn is set amongst the sandstone cottages of Lyddington, a rural conservation village surrounded by the slopes of the Welland Valley. This 17th Century building has retained its original beamed ceilings, stone walls and open fires and is surrounded by well stocked gardens. The Old White Hart is one of the few owner run remaining traditional country pubs in the area. The owners Stuart and Holly East have been running the Pub for 15 years. The ten minute drive from Corby or the five minutes from Uppingham seem like a step back in time. The atmosphere creates a feeling of times gone by and a more leisurely era. Whether sampling the real ales or dining in our Restaurant, a warm welcome always awaits. We also offer the highest quality bed and breakfast accommodation at competitive prices, we have ten rooms available, 8 of which are in pretty sandstone cottages ajoining the pub.
Choose anything from our A La Carte menu on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and pay only half the normal bill (not in conjunction with any other offer, not available bank holidays). NB. Steaks are a third off mon-thursday.
